Why can't I delete a member?

Users are not able to delete members through the system interface. This is to reduce potential data integrity errors where a member may have attendance records, award scheme records and financial records linked to them. If a mistake has been made with a member record, one of the following options can be used:
1. Re-use the member record for the next new member.
2. Allocate them to a Left Group Section - perhaps changing the Family and First/Preferred names to Error or Delete before doing so. See "Changing Section" in the Online Help Notes for details. We periodically remove the Error/Delete members from the system for you.
